Inquérito à Mobilidade nas Áreas Metropolitanas do Porto e de Lisboa em 2017


 
Resumo            
"De acordo com os resultados provisórios do Inquérito à Mobilidade nas Áreas Metropolitanas do Porto (AMP) e de Lisboa (AML), realizado pelo INE em 2017, verifica-se que:
• A população móvel representou, face ao total da população residente, 78,9% na AMP e 80,4% na AML;
• O número médio de deslocações/dia por pessoa móvel situou-se em 2,72 na AMP e 2,60 na AML;
• As deslocações efetuadas pelos residentes da AMP e AML duraram em média 21,8 minutos e 24,3 minutos, respetivamente;
• Deslocações intramunicipais representaram 71,0% na AMP e 65,4% na AML no total de deslocações com origem e destino na respetiva área metropolitana;
• O principal motivo das deslocações foi o trabalho (30,3% do total na AMP e 30,8% na AML); 
• O automóvel foi o principal meio de transporte nas deslocações realizadas pelos residentes nas áreas metropolitanas, de forma mais marcante na AMP (67,6% das deslocações) do que na AML (58,9%), considerando todos os dias da semana em geral."
